RAE KENNON
Rae Kennon was born and raised in Blytheville. She graduated high school from what was once a local private school, Lighthouse Christian Academy, and went on to graduate from Arkansas Northeastern College, then known as Mississippi County Community College. In December 2003 Rae joined the sales department of JMS Processing, one of Blytheville’s steel-related industries. Active in many aspect of community, Rae has been a member of the Embroiders Guild of America since 1995, where she teaches cross-stitch and needlepoint to both her own chapter members and local people in the Blytheville area. Rae is a member of First Baptist Church Blytheville and serves on the Youth Council within her church. She serves as the Secretary of the Mississippi County Single Parent Scholarship Board and is an active member of the YA Forever Book Club at the Mississippi County Library. Rae has also served on several committees with the Blytheville Chamber of Commerce including the BLI committee and the Chamber’s Christmas Parade.
